Adelaide's 3rd Birthday!

Happy Birthday Adelaide! Our little girl is Three! Adelaide is a wonderful kid. She has a mind of her own and a vocabulary to go with it. She loves Diego, Dora and too many other TV characters. Adelaide loves to be outside, walking to the park, looking at flowers, picking up sticks, bubbles, running in her sparkly shoes and swinging. Nursery is her favorite part of church. In the past two weeks she has potty trained herself basically. It's true that the best way to potty train is to let them do it! After dinner we decorated Easter shaped sugar cookies.

Gwen was not happy that I was not sharing my bunny.

But once I did she was good again. She is so funny.

Easter 2012

Easter has come and gone. I'm grateful once again my Savior and the gift He has given all of us to live again. We had a busy Easter this year. Adelaide's birthday fell on Easter this year. So with Grandma and Bompa Williams help we went to Thanksgiving Point's Easter Eggtreme. To be honest it was a bit of a let down. For $34 dollars she got to jump in a crowded blow up castle, hunt for 10 eggs all of which had lame stickers in them (not even Easter related), play a few toss games and ride in a cow train. We were going to do face painting and waited in line forever only to find out it cost money. $3 dollars for a mustache! Oh well I think she had fun. Richard has a fabulous idea for next year. We will simply create our own Easter Eggtreme. Here are a few shots from our day. We were very excited to have Kaylie join us.

On Easter the girls were excited to find new dresses and baskets. However, we did not get a good picture of them in their pretty dresses. I will work on getting one taken. Gwen thought the idea of plastic eggs and Easter grass was genius! Adelaide loved, LOVED, loved her new dress and would not stop dancing. I think it's time to consider an actual dance class.

We hope you all had a wonder Easter. Check back soon for pictures of Adelaide's Birthday!

One Year Older and Wiser Too!

We celebrated Gwen's first birthday last weekend. I say it over and over time flies! Gwen is a happy and lovable baby. We have so much fun with her. She is a great mimicker. She loves fruit and so we made Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes. They turned out so yummy. At the party were Grandparents, Aunts, cousins, and friends. We feel so blessed to have so much love and support in our lives. Thanks to everyone who came. Here's to another great year. We love you Gwen.

200th Post!

How exciting to reach 200! Yesterday I took part in a little photo challenge given by the talented Liz Kartchner. It was to take a dozen photos of my day. I really enjoyed just grabbing the camera throughout the day and taking a quick picture. I will have to do this more often. So without further ado here is our day.

Hope you enjoyed a peek into our lives. Head over to Liz's blog for even more Daily Dozen fun.

February Here and Gone

February brought lots of fun and love. Adelaide and I made valentines from toilet paper rolls that were shaped into hearts and then dipped in paint. She loved, I loved it! Gwen reached 11 months. She started walking and has become very opinionated. You know when she is unhappy. Luckily she still smiles big and is starting to play more with her sister. Adelaide is turning out to be a wonderful big sister. One of their favorite games is "doctor". It's fun to watch them play together. Valentine's was a quiet holiday at our house. The girls and I surprised Richard with balloons and sweets. Adelaide handed out her valentines to Richard's co-workers. We had a nice dinner together. All in all it was a good month.

We love hugs and kisses around here.
