34 weeks!

Here is a shot of the growing belly. We are at 34 weeks which is a little more them 7.5 months. I can't believe that she is getting so close to coming. I now get stories from people that say "Oh I had my kid at 34 weeks or 36 weeks" I'm sort of on the fence about her coming early. I want to see her and be done with pregnancy, but at the same time I'm so not ready to have her here. So I think I will pray that she arrives on time.

What can I say... I tried

In my life I have tried to become a quilter. To date I have started 3 quilts and finished 1. In finishing my first ever quilt I have decided that I will never be a talented quilter and I'm ok with that. I respect the people out there that can line up each square, have their backing and the front match and have their binding look perfectly stitched. You are amazing!

Now I will show you my cute, but slightly sad little baby quilt.
I did have fun making it and I love the colors.

Thanks!

My Beautiful Wife

I thought I would try out my new camera, and of course with my favorite subject, my wife Bre. This picture is taken at 7 months. I'm amazed at how quickly time seams to fly. Surely Bre would say otherwise. We feel very blessed and we're excited for the arrival of the little lady. In just a few couple of weeks I will have two beautiful subjects to take pictures of.

A new twist

As many of you know I have been making booties!

Thank you for all your wonderful comments about the Mary Jane's. I think they are simply adorable and I feel bad for all the boy babies out there that don't get to wear them. So I decided to put a new twist on the pattern and make some fun boy booties.
This is what I came up with...
Aren't they so cute? I have one more idea to add just a little more to them. I will test it out and let you know how it goes.

More Booties!

When we were in Washington for Christmas Richard's mom taught us how to crochet some cute booties. We put a little twist on them and turned them into Mary Jane's. Here are some of our latest designs.
