The Goings Ons

I had a chance to go through some of our pictures. So this is a random post of pictures.

First off Food! We have been getting a lot of Plums from our Bountiful Baskets. So I found a recipe for a Plum Kuchen. It turned out beautiful and yummy.

 We had Rebecca and Everett over for dinner one night. It was fun to spend time with them. Rebecca the master baker that she is made Banana Cupcakes. They looked amazing and tasted even better.

Milan is calling. Here's to our runway fashion model.

Emiko gave the girls beautiful blue Chinese style dresses. Here Adelaide is spinning in hers.

For Pioneer day this year we kept it pretty simple. On Monday Adelaide dressed up in her pioneer apron and bonnet that her Grandpa Swasey gave her. She would have made a cute pioneer.

 She is apparently practicing to become a rodeo queen.

We brought out the little spinner toy the other week. Of course poor Adelaide thinks it is hers and doesn't like to share. She has learned to climb in, but then is stuck. This face results.

We sure do love our two year old. It is a learning experience everyday for all of us.
What I learned yesterday.

1. Underestimating my child's height
2. Leaving said child alone to watch a movie
3. Leaving the cooking spray on the counter
Result: Every couch cushion covered in olive oil cooking spray, along with the child.
