One Year!

It has been one year since Richard and I said "I do". What a wonderful year it has been. I'm so grateful for Richard. He is the most loving, attentive and caring husband a girl could ask for. As I look back over this past year I smile at all the happy memories we have made. I want to thank Richard for all he has done, is doing and will do. I love you Richard!
Here are my two favorite people taking a quick catnap.

Guess who's one week old...it's little Adelaide!

It's amazing how many changes can take place in a week. No, I'm not talking about the lack of sleep, though that is a definite change. The changes I'm referring to are those in our little Adelaide. Her face is taking on more shape and it's fun to see her open her eyes more. These changes also include more crying and dirty diapers of course, but we sure love this little one-week-old.

Bath Time

As you can see from the pictures, Adelaide loves bath time. These are pictures from Adelaide's first bath at the hospital. We love her little bubble chin. After she was all clean, she was quick to calm down and the nurse added little bows. She's so cute.

Now all we need is the baby.

Bre and I have had a fun time getting Adelaide's room ready. Here are a few pictures of the room including a shot of Adelaide's closet. We would like to thank all those who have helped us to prepare for the baby, including Rob and Lisa who provided us with the nursery furniture. Now all we need is the baby.

Baby Love

Here's a cute layout that my friend Alisha made using the fun maternity pictures Bre and I had taken. Right now Bre and I are just anxiously awaiting little Adelaide's arrival. Hopefully the next layout will feature her.

Our St. Patty's Dinner

I realize that this is late, but oh well. We have been getting together with my cousin's and their spouses for a dinner once a month. Since it was March and a holiday we decided to have Corned Beef and Cabbage, with roasted red potatoes, onions and carrots! Cynthia came over early and we made table decorations and cooked the food. Tracy and Abe brought drinks and our dear friends Nichole and Justin made the most delicious brownie, chocolate pudding and homemade whip cream truffle. So much good food. I loved everything. We then played Five Kings and had a great time chatting it up. Here are my only two pictures from the night.

We're thinking that April should be some sort of Brunch. Mmm I can just picture it now.
