Girls Camp!!!!

In June I went to girls camp!!! We went to the beautiful Heber Valley campground. I was on the food commitee and had a wonderful time meeting new ladies in the stake and seeing all the girls. I love being in Young Women's.

There is an awesome ropes course and I was able to do the zip line. It was hard, but so much fun.

I got a nice burn the first day.

It was a peaceful and beautiful place. I'm so amazed by the girls in our ward. They pulled together and were so kind and loving.

Always playing catch up

Well once again I have fallen behind in my posting. We have been enjoying summer. Here are some pictures of our lives lately.

We've been swimming and to splash pads. It's nice to cool off.
There's a great park in Saratoga Springs for kite flying. Adelaide loved when her little panda kicks his legs.
Adelaide is quite the dancer. We really hope to get her into a dance class soon.
I tried my hand at sewing again. My friend Lisa had lots of leftover triangles and let me join her in her project. The pillow turned out great and I think I may try another sewing project. Adelaide has done a little "needling" herself.
Oh and I went blond!!! Just for fun.

Memorial Campout

This Memorial we went on a little overnight campout. We bought a new tent and wanted to try it out. So we packed up the house and headed to Willow Park in Lehi! The gird had a blast. Grandma and Pompa Williams came for dinner and s'mores. The wind got a little rough that night and our air mattress leaked. Suffice it to say the adults didn't sleep well. Oh well it was still fun.

Richard has some other photos I will get up later.

Last Day of Preschool

For the past 9 months Adelaide has attended the Happy Hearts preschool. She has loved it and learned so much. Teacher Nisha always had fun crafts, songs and activities to do. Adelaide was able to go on 3 field trips, first to the Fire Station, then Arctic Circle and lastly Cabela's.

First day of school.

Last day of school.

I love seeing how much she has grown and changed in the last 9 months.

What's been going on?

It's been awhile since our last post. So what have we been up to?
I had my eye checked. The results were as expected, Doc says I have eagle eyes!

We have been enjoying the lovely weather and playing at the park. It tuckers us out.
We have thought about potty training.
Richard and I celebrated our 5th anniversary. We spent the day together getting a couples message, having a steak dinner and walking around City Creek mall. That night we stayed in a hotel, it was a magical anniversary.
Fire and water fountain at City Creek.
There's been some super hero action around here. Daddy's are the best!
We love the arts. Painting is a common practice around here.
Richard, Amy and I did the Freedom 5K run. They throw color powder at you. It was lots of fun.

I'm 4 right NOW!

Adelaide is 4! We are so impressed with our little lady. She has been looking forward to this birthday for quite some time. For weeks all we heard was that she wanted a princess party with a mermaid cake. We slowly shifted to a mermaid theme party complete with our first pinata! Adelaide had a great time with her family and friends and is already looking forward to turning 5. Heaven help us. ;)

Easter 2013

Easter morning came early at our house and it was met with colds. Richard was the only one to escape the sickness. Therefore Easter was spent at home for us girls. Adelaide was up first and was happy to see the Easter Bunny had brought her a new Barbie movie. Gwen was excited from the moment she saw her basket. She promptly ate all her candy and tried to sneak more from the rest of our baskets.
We are truly grateful for our Savior. Even though we weren't able to attend our church meetings He was on our minds and in our hearts.

The Easter Bunny didn't stop with baskets inside the house but left some outside too! (We have some awesomely sneaky neighbors!)

Happy Easter!
