Too cute to boot!

Gwen is 3 months. She has grown so much. She is a 14 lbs which is what Adelaide weighed at 6 months. I can't say it enough, that she is the sweetest baby. I feel so blessed.

She loves her fingers in her mouth. I remember Adelaide doing the same thing.

We took a couple of the girls together. This was first thing in the morning. Adelaide had just woken up. When I went in to get her she had her head pushed up against the crib, thus the red line on her forehead. Also we had to have our "princess" headband. Yes, it has started Princesses are a big deal.

This was the last shot. Adelaide was trying to lift Gwen off her lap, but all she could do was slightly push her and say "Heavy, Baby heavy". What do you expect when your baby sister weighs more then half of what you do?

Pony Express Days Parade and our little Who!

Saturday we went to the Pony Express Days parade. Adelaide loved it! She waved at all the people going by. She grabbed all the candy, frisbees and balloons thrown at her. Best of all though were the "princesses" aka the city royalties. Not only did they have the best floats (the only floats actually), but they had pretty girls in gowns and crowns. We all had a good time.

On Sunday we headed to Provo for Bobbie D's blessing. Adelaide fell asleep in the car, but before she did she pulled out her ponytail. When Richard looked back this is what he saw. Doesn't she remind you of a little Who from Whoville?

Hop, Hop, Hop!

Adelaide loves to hop! Add that to her love of being outside and you have a happy two year old. Yesterday she had her lunch Al Fresco and we captured a few shots.

She also likes to explore.

Side note: We have been working the front of the house a bit. So far we have attacked the weed infested garden beds and painted the front door. We plan to paint the shutters too.
This is what our garden beds looked like.

FuzziBunz

Gwen is 11 weeks. We recently decided to try out cloth diapers. So far so good. Of course it has been less then 24 hours, but I do like them. They give her the best bubble butt ever! Naturally we have to document this. So with out further ado...
Isn't it so cute?

I also was able to get a couple of shots of my two girls together. Adelady is not one for pictures lately. Getting her to hold still is pretty impossible these days. I have them in color and black and white. I wasn't sure which I liked best.

2 months and three shots later

Our little Gwenie is growing fast. She has reached 11 lbs 11oz. Her doctors appointment was a success. Adelaide had her two year appointment the same day. She is doing well too. She is still my lightweight at 24 lbs. I'm glad that she is done with her shots for a year because having two kids get shots on the same day was not the best for me. Just picture me standing in a little room with a crying 2 month old in one arm and a screaming two year old in the other. Good times (not really).

These next two she posed herself. She's like a little model.

The shots!

Head wound and a mohawk

The other day Adelaide had a run in with the stairs. It didn't go so well. Richard ended up taking her to the doctor and they glued her eyebrow shut. Since she has gotten a nice shiner. Adelaide did really well with it. She loved playing with the first aid kit and didn't seem to care about the blood.
Yesterday when she woke up she had an awesome mohawk. So with the wound and the hair I had a pretty tough looking two year old.
